Accredited Persons Training - MAFBNZ Approved Transitional Facility
MAF Biosecurity New Zealand (MAFBNZ) requires all sea container facilities to nominate one or more MAFBNZ Accredited Persons to be responsible for checking imported containers for pests and contamination. AsureQuality is an approved independent training provider for the MAFBNZ Accredited Persons (AP) training course.
AP training key benefits
- Learn what biosecurity is and why it is important.
- Explain the role and responsibilities of an AP in relation to biosecurity
- Learn how to evaluate a Custom Delivery Order and Biosecurity Authority Clearance Certificate (BACC)
- Be able to check a sea container for contamination and complete a container log sheet
- Release a container on the Accredited Persons website
- Understand the transitional facility requirements.

Anyone wanting to become an AP for checking sea containers
Anyone needing to renew their AP certification
Course length
3 hour workshop, inludes assessment conducted during the course.
Cost
$150 +GST per person (minimum of 6 trainees per course)
