Meeting Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) Requirements for Food
HACCP Certification is reassurance for retailers and branded manufacturers of the standards met by you as a supplier and AsureQuality, as an approved Certification Body for HACCP can help you achieve this.
What is the HACCP Standard and why do you need it?
The HACCP Standard was developed by the Codex Alimentarius Commission to set standards for food safety.
It prompts you to ask key questions about the safety of the food that you produce or handle according to the type of business you are involved in, the food safety hazards associated with your business, the causes of those hazards,How you can control or remove those hazards, how you can show that you have controlled or removed those hazards, and what you will do if things go wrong.
Once you have the answers to these questions, applied the key controls that have been identified, and kept those controls in place, you are in the position to confidently say, “I know I provide safe food.”
